Galaxy Sign Ahsan Moore and Leander Strathmann
Frankfurt Galaxy have strengthened both sides of the ball ahead of the 2026 EFA season, signing wide receiver Ahsan Moore and defensive lineman Leander Strathmann. Both players bring valuable experience and add depth, athleticism, and versatility to the Galaxy roster.
Ahsan Moore adds explosiveness to the offense
Ahsan Moore is a young and dynamic wide receiver who has already built a solid professional résumé in Europe. He began his career with the Allgäu Comets, where he quickly emerged as a key offensive weapon. In 2024, Moore was named Offensive Player of the Year by his team, highlighting his impact and development.
In 2025, he took the next step in his career by joining the Munich Ravens. There, he recorded 226 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 17 receptions, showcasing his efficiency and big-play ability. Moore is known for his speed, route-running, and ability to stretch the field. With Galaxy, he is expected to take on a larger role and provide a vertical threat in the passing game.
Leander Strathmann strengthens the defensive line
Leander Strathmann joins Galaxy as a well-traveled and experienced defensive lineman with an international background.
A native of Hamburg, he started his career with the Hamburg Pioneers and Hamburg Blue Devils before moving to the United States in 2017. He played at Kents Hill School and later at the New Mexico Military Institute, gaining valuable experience at a high level of competition. Strathmann continued his development in Canada with the Concordia Stingers before returning to Germany in 2024, where he became part of Stuttgart Surge and contributed to a championship-winning roster. During the 2024 season, he recorded 11 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks in 10 games, establishing himself as a reliable presence on the defensive front.
