Hugo Dyrendahl Named EFA Week 9 MVP

The European Football Alliance has announced its Week 9 award winners, with Nordic Storm linebacker Hugo Dyrendahl earning the EFA Most Valuable Player award after anchoring one of the league’s most dominant defensive performances of the season.

Dyrendahl was the driving force behind Nordic Storm’s convincing 40:14 road victory over the Raiders Tirol, finishing the game with 13 total tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and 2 sacks. His relentless pressure disrupted the Raiders offense throughout the evening and helped limit the home team to just two second half touchdowns as Nordic Storm improved to 6:1 and strengthened its position near the top of the EFA standings.

Henderson Claims Offensive Honors

The Offensive Player of the Week award goes to Jaylon Henderson of the Prague Lions.

The dual threat quarterback produced another spectacular performance in Prague’s dramatic victory over the Paris Musketeers. Henderson completed 24 of 34 passes for 296 yards and four touchdowns, while adding 118 rushing yards on 23 carries. Responsible for more than 400 yards of total offense, he led the Lions to their second victory of the season and kept Prague firmly in the race for a BIG4 playoff spot.

Hrubon Perfect on Special Teams

The Special Teams Player of the Week honor goes to Marek Hrubon of the Prague Lions.

Hrubon delivered a flawless kicking performance, converting all three field goal attempts, one of them from 54 Yards to send the game to overtime. He also added one of two extra points. He also averaged 61.3 yards per kickoff, totaling 368 kickoff yards making him one of the decisive factors in Prague’s important home victory.
