Matyáš Bílý Named EFA Week 6 MVP

The fans have spoken: Prague Lions wide receiver Matyáš Bílý has been voted the European Football Alliance Week 6 Most Valuable Player.

Although the Prague Lions fell 31–18 on the road against Frankfurt Galaxy, Bílý delivered an outstanding individual performance. The Czech playmaker was one of the brightest spots for his team and once again demonstrated why he is among the league’s most dangerous receivers.

Bílý Shines Despite the Loss

Quarterback Jaylon Henderson repeatedly looked Bílý’s way in key situations throughout the game. His biggest play came in the third quarter when he hauled in a 43 yard touchdown reception, helping the Lions cut into Frankfurt’s lead. With reliable hands, explosive route running, and several crucial catches, Bílý kept Prague’s offense competitive for much of the afternoon.

His performance earned him the EFA Week 6 MVP Award, making him the first Prague Lions player to receive the honor during the inaugural EFA season.

  • Week 3: Brevin Easton (Frankfurt Galaxy, Wide Receiver)
  • Week 4: Chris Mulumba (Frankfurt Galaxy, Defensive Lineman)
  • Week 5: Jaylen Clay (Frankfurt Galaxy, Defensive Back)
  • Week 6: Matyáš Bílý (Prague Lions, Wide Receiver)

More Weekly Honors for Nordic Storm

The remaining weekly awards also went to Nordic Storm. Wide receiver Brendan Beaulieu was named Offensive Player of the Week after an outstanding performance in Nordic Storm’s 48–16 victory over the Paris Musketeers. The Canadian playmaker was one of the driving forces behind the team’s impressive offensive display and continued his outstanding season.

On the defensive side, Ludvig Myrén earned Defensive Player of the Week honors. It is already his second weekly award of the season, further underlining the strength of Nordic Storm’s dominant defense as the unbeaten league leaders continue their impressive campaign.
