Munich Leave No Doubt Against Prague

The Munich Ravens once again lived up to their role as one of the European Football Alliance’s top contenders, defeating the Prague Lions 45-13 at Sportpark Unterhaching.

Entering the matchup unbeaten, the Ravens showcased their quality on both sides of the ball and improved to 4-0 on the season, while the Lions remain in search of their first victory.

Fast Start Sets the Tone

Munich wasted no time taking control of the game. The opening drive marched deep into Prague territory before Russell Tabor connected with Marvin Rutsch for the first touchdown of the afternoon. Moments later, Louis Geyer found the end zone to extend the lead to 14-0, giving the home crowd an early reason to celebrate.

The Ravens continued to dominate throughout the first half. Tabor added another touchdown pass, this time to Philip Okonkwo, while Daniel Schweiger converted a field goal to push Munich’s advantage to 24-0.

To their credit, the Prague Lions responded before halftime. Quarterback Jaylon Henderson and wide receiver William Patterson connected on a 45-yard touchdown strike to put the visitors on the board. Just before the break, the same duo combined for another score, trimming the deficit to 24-13 despite a blocked extra point. The Lions had given themselves hope heading into the locker room.

Munich Pulls Away After Halftime

Any hopes of a Prague comeback quickly faded in the third quarter. The Ravens returned to the field focused and determined to regain complete control. A long offensive drive ended with a touchdown run by Justus Seelig, restoring Munich’s three-score advantage at 31-13.

At the same time, Munich’s defense elevated its performance. The Lions struggled to sustain drives as the Ravens consistently created pressure, won key battles at the line of scrimmage, and forced Prague into difficult situations.

The visitors continued to fight, but the Ravens never allowed them back into the contest. Munich controlled possession, limited mistakes, and steadily wore down the Prague defense.

Ravens Finish Strong

The fourth quarter belonged entirely to Munich. Another touchdown run by Justus Seelig increased the lead to 38-13 before the Ravens put the game away for good late in the contest. After a strong drive led by the reserve offense, Benedikt Pohler powered into the end zone for the final touchdown of the afternoon.

Defensively, the Ravens sealed the victory with a dominant finish. Eric Könchke intercepted Jaylon Henderson in the fourth quarter, ending any realistic chance of a Prague comeback and highlighting another strong performance from Munich’s defense.

With the victory, the Munich Ravens improve to 4-0 and remain firmly among the league’s elite teams. The Prague Lions showed resilience during the second quarter and received another productive performance from William Patterson, but ultimately could not match Munich’s depth, execution, and physicality over four quarters.
