Munich Ravens dominates German rivalry and remain unbeaten
The Munich Ravens continue to set the standard in the European Football Alliance. In the second German rivalry of the inaugural EFA season, the unbeaten league leaders defeated Frankfurt Galaxy 38:5 at Sportpark Unterhaching, improving to a perfect 7-0 record and strengthening their grip on first place. While Munich has already secured its playoff berth, Frankfurt remains third in the standings despite suffering its heaviest defeat of the season.
Munich controls the game from the opening drive
From the opening kickoff, the Munich Ravens imposed their game plan. Quarterback Russell Tabor orchestrated long, methodical drives built around short, efficient passes and a powerful running attack led by Justus Seelig. The opening possession ended with Seelig punching in the game’s first touchdown to give the home team a 7:0 lead.
Frankfurt struggled to establish any offensive rhythm. The Galaxy’s opening drive ended in a punt, while Munich consistently moved the chains with balanced play calling and excellent clock management.
Early in the second quarter, Ryan Rimmler’s counterpart added a field goal before Louis Geyer finished another impressive drive with a touchdown reception. A strip sack by the Munich defense then set up excellent field position, allowing Seelig to score his second rushing touchdown of the afternoon. By halftime, the Ravens held a commanding 23:0 advantage and had completely dictated the pace of the game.
Galaxy finds no answers
Frankfurt opened the second half with its most promising drive of the afternoon. Brevin Easton appeared to score the Galaxy’s first touchdown, but following a review the catch was overturned, leaving Frankfurt empty handed once again.
Munich immediately answered. Louis Geyer caught his second touchdown pass of the game before the Ravens successfully converted a two point conversion to extend the lead to 31:0.
With the outcome essentially decided, both teams later gave their backup quarterbacks valuable playing time. Frankfurt finally got on the scoreboard after a high snap sailed over Munich quarterback Levin Adrom for a safety. Ryan Rimmler later added a field goal before running back Benedikt Pohler capped the afternoon with another Munich touchdown to complete the 38:5 final score.

The Ravens held Frankfurt to just 153 total offensive yards while controlling possession for nearly 24 of the first 30 minutes. Long, sustained drives consistently wore down the Galaxy defense, while Munich’s own defense prevented Frankfurt from establishing any offensive momentum.
Head Coach Kendral Ellison praised his team’s complete performance after the game.
“The team executed exactly what we wanted to do today: stay focused for four quarters, communicate well and dominate the football game.”
Munich has now won all seven games this season and continues to look every bit like the team to beat in the race for the EFA Championship Game.
Frankfurt remains in control of its playoff destiny
Despite the convincing defeat, Frankfurt Galaxy still occupies third place in the EFA standings thanks to last week’s road victory over the Paris Musketeers and Prague’s dramatic win over Paris in Week 9.
The Galaxy had scored more than 30 points in each of its previous two games, but the Munich defense prevented any similar offensive production this time. With two home games and a bye week remaining, Frankfurt still controls its own destiny in the race for the EFA BIG4 Semi Final Weekend and remains in a strong position to qualify despite the setback in Munich.
