Nordic Storm extend two key homegrown players
The Nordic Storm have secured important pieces for the future, extending wide receiver Simon Føns and linebacker Ludvig Myren for the upcoming EFA seasons. With both signings, the franchise keeps two of its most impactful homegrown players on offense and defense.

Wide receiver Simon Føns developed into one of the most reliable targets in the Storm’s offense during the 2025 season. The Danish receiver recorded 38 receptions for 706 yards and 10 touchdowns in 11 regular season games. He continued his strong performances in the playoffs, adding 10 receptions for 146 yards and three touchdowns in two games. Throughout the season, Føns proved to be a dependable option, stepping up in key situations and delivering consistent production.
His combination of size, route running, and chemistry with quarterback Jadrian Clark makes him a key part of the Storm’s passing game moving forward.
Defensive leader: Ludvig Myren
On the defensive side, the Storm retain one of their most productive players in Ludvig Myren. The Swedish linebacker has been performing at a high level in European football for several seasons and remains a central figure in the defense.
Across 43 games, Myren has recorded 373 tackles, 10 sacks, and 36 tackles for loss, along with multiple turnovers and defensive scores. His physicality, instincts, and playmaking ability make him one of the most complete linebackers in the league.By extending Myren, the Storm secure experience and leadership at the heart of their defense.
