Nordic Storm punches BIG4 ticket with dominant road win in Paris

Nordic Storm underlined its championship ambitions in the inaugural European Football Alliance season with a commanding 41:3 road victory over the Paris Musketeers. The Scandinavian powerhouse improved to 7-1, officially securing its place at the EFA BIG4 Playoff Weekend in Frankfurt. While Storm strengthened its grip on second place behind the unbeaten Munich Ravens, Paris suffered its fourth consecutive defeat and now finds itself under increasing pressure in the playoff race.

Clark and Beaulieu set the tone early

Nordic Storm wasted no time taking control of the game. Quarterback Jadrian Clark marched his offense 67 yards on the opening possession before connecting with Brendan Beaulieu for the first touchdown of the afternoon. Late in the opening quarter, Clark struck again, this time finding running back Glen Toonga to extend the lead to 14:0.

Storm remained firmly in command throughout the second quarter. Paris struggled to find any rhythm against the aggressive Storm defense, while Clark continued to lead efficient scoring drives. Jakob Green added another touchdown reception to make it 21:0 before halftime, putting the visitors in complete control of the contest.

Storm offense reaches another level

The second half began exactly as the first had ended. Less than a minute into the third quarter, Brendan Beaulieu broke free for a spectacular 68-yard touchdown, stretching the lead to 27:0. Just minutes later, the star receiver found the end zone again, hauling in his third touchdown catch of the afternoon to make it 35:0.

Beaulieu finished the game with an outstanding 13 receptions for 231 yards and three touchdowns. After becoming the first player in EFA history to surpass 1,000 receiving yards in a single season last week, he once again delivered a historic performance. Jadrian Clark was equally impressive, completing 26 of his 33 passes for 384 yards and five touchdown passes.

Storm defense overwhelms the Musketeers

Nordic Storm’s defense was just as dominant as its offense. Paris managed only 174 total yards, converted just one of twelve third downs, and allowed eight sacks throughout the afternoon. Quarterback Zach Edwards never found his rhythm as the Storm pass rush consistently collapsed the pocket and disrupted the Musketeers’ offense.

The home team finally got on the scoreboard in the fourth quarter when Dean Faithfull converted a 56-yard field goal. Storm responded immediately, however, as Simon Fons returned the ensuing kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown to seal the emphatic 41:3 final score.

BIG4 secured, Paris still fighting for survival

With the victory, Nordic Storm improves to 7-1 and officially clinches its place at the EFA BIG4 Playoff Weekend in Frankfurt. The Scandinavian side remains the closest challenger to the undefeated Munich Ravens and stays firmly in contention for a favorable playoff seed.

For the Paris Musketeers, the situation has become increasingly difficult. The loss marks their fourth straight defeat, leaving them at 3-5 with only two regular season games remaining. While Paris still occupies a playoff position for now, every remaining game has effectively become a must-win as the battle for the final BIG4 spots intensifies.
