Nordic Storm Remains Unbeaten Against Galaxy

Nordic Storm continued its impressive run in the European Football Alliance with a hard-fought 20-12 victory over Frankfurt Galaxy at Gladsaxe Stadium.

The Danish side improved to 4-0 on the season and remains unbeaten, while Frankfurt showed significant improvement but was ultimately unable to complete its comeback effort.

Perfect Start for Nordic Storm

The home team could hardly have asked for a better start. On its opening drive, quarterback Jadrian Clark marched the offense down the field and connected with Brendan Beaulieu for an early touchdown. A few minutes later, Nordic Storm struck again when Jonathan Steinhauer Nielsen hauled in a touchdown pass to extend the lead to 13-0.

Frankfurt initially struggled to find its rhythm. Ryan Rimmler put the Galaxy on the scoreboard with a 46-yard field goal, but penalties and missed opportunities prevented the visitors from building momentum. The breakthrough finally came early in the second quarter when Ethan Garbers found Brevin Easton in the end zone. The extra point was missed, leaving Nordic Storm ahead 13-9.

Galaxy Fights Back

From that point on, the game developed into a defensive battle. Frankfurt’s defense repeatedly stepped up, highlighted by an interception from Roedion Henrique and several key stops that kept the contest within reach. Chris Molumba, Jaylen Clay, and the rest of the Galaxy defense consistently pressured Jadrian Clark and prevented Nordic Storm from extending its lead for most of the afternoon.

Offensively, however, Frankfurt could not fully capitalize. Promising drives were stalled by penalties, turnovers, and missed opportunities. In the third quarter, Rimmler added another field goal to bring the Galaxy within one point at 13-12 and set up a tense finish.

Storm Closes the Door

With Frankfurt pushing for the lead, Nordic Storm leaned on its running game and regained control in the fourth quarter. Running back Glen Toonga became the focal point of the offense, repeatedly moving the chains and helping drain valuable time from the clock.

The decisive moment came midway through the final quarter when Toonga capped off a lengthy drive with a touchdown run, extending the lead to 20-12.

Frankfurt still had opportunities to respond, but Nordic Storm’s defense delivered when it mattered most. Multiple sacks and critical stops prevented the Galaxy from mounting a late comeback, allowing the hosts to secure another important victory.

Nordic Storm Stays on Top

With the win, Nordic Storm improves to 4-0 and remains alongside the Munich Ravens at the top of the EFA standings. Frankfurt Galaxy can take positives from a much-improved performance, particularly on defense, but ultimately fell just short against one of the league’s strongest teams.

For Nordic Storm, the result further strengthens its position as a leading contender in the race for the 2026 EFA Championship Game.
