Paris Musketeers Edge Tirol in Dramatic Finish
The Paris Musketeers secured one of the most dramatic victories of the 2026 European Football Alliance season on Saturday night, defeating the Raiders Tirol 24-17 in front of their home crowd at Stade Bauer.
A touchdown connection between quarterback Zach Edwards and wide receiver Hugo Tekedam with just 16 seconds remaining completed a remarkable comeback and lifted Paris to its third win of the season. For the Raiders, it was another heartbreaking defeat after leading for much of the contest.
Fast Start for Paris, Tirol Takes Control
The Musketeers could hardly have asked for a better opening. On their first offensive possession, Zach Edwards connected with Austin Mitchell for a 51-yard gain that immediately moved Paris deep into Raiders territory. That momentum finally paid off midway through the fourth quarter when running back Jason Bofunda capped a long drive with a touchdown run to tie the contest at 17-17. Suddenly, all the pressure shifted to the visitors.
Tekedam Delivers the Winning Moment
With less than two minutes remaining, the Raiders were forced to punt the ball back to Paris, giving Edwards one final opportunity to lead a game-winning drive. The veteran quarterback responded with several clutch completions, moving the Musketeers steadily into scoring position.
Passes to Hassane Dosso, Rémi Bertellin, and Lokmen Nadjem helped drive Paris deep into Raiders territory. Then, with just 16 seconds left on the clock, Edwards found Hugo Tekedam for an eight-yard touchdown that sent Stade Bauer into celebration and gave the Musketeers a 24-17 lead.
Tirol received the ball one last time, but there was not enough time left to mount a response. What had appeared to be the Raiders’ best opportunity for a first victory ultimately turned into another narrow defeat.
For Paris, the comeback victory demonstrated resilience and character after last week’s loss to the Munich Ravens. For Tirol, it was a painful reminder of how small the margins can be in the European Football Alliance, as the Austrian side came within seconds of securing its first win of the season.
