Proven dual-threat quarterback Henderson joins Prague Lions
The Prague Lions have signed quarterback Jaylon Henderson for the upcoming EFA season. The American brings international experience and proven production, adding a dynamic presence to the Lions’ offense. Henderson most recently played for the Paris Musketeers, where he led the team through the 2025 season and established himself as one of the most productive quarterbacks in European football.
Productive season in Europe
During the 2025 season, Henderson recorded 2,135 passing yards and 29 touchdowns, leading the Musketeers to a 7–5 record. His ability to produce consistently and lead the offense made him one of the key quarterbacks in the league. His combination of passing efficiency and mobility allows him to create plays both through the air and on the ground, making him a dual-threat option under center.
Championship experience in Germany
Before his time in Paris, Henderson played for the Potsdam Royals in the German Football League, where he won back-to-back championships. In 2024, he led the Royals to a perfect season, underlining his ability to perform at a high level in decisive moments. His experience in a winning environment adds valuable leadership and composure to the Prague Lions’ offense.
College career and development
Henderson began his college career at the University of Texas at San Antonio before transferring to Trinity Valley Community College, where he showcased his dual-threat ability.
He later joined Boise State, where he developed into a starting quarterback and gained valuable experience at the Division I level. In 2019, he played in nine games, including four starts, throwing for 1,080 yards and 12 touchdowns, while also leading his team to a conference title and earning Offensive MVP honors in the championship game.
Experience across multiple levels
After a brief break from football, Henderson returned in 2022 with the Vegas Night Hawks in the Indoor Football League and later played in Japan for the Panasonic Impulse, reaching the Rice Bowl and adding further international experience.
