Raiders Tirol retain running back Lukas Haslwanter
The Raiders Tirol have secured the return of running back Lukas Haslwanter for the 2026 season. The Austrian has extended his contract and will continue to play at Tivoli Stadium.
Haslwanter has been part of the Raiders organization since 2016 and remains one of the key figures in the team’s offense. Following a strong season, he was named the team’s Offensive MVP.
Strong season in the ELF
During the past season, Haslwanter recorded 1,042 rushing yards with an average of 5.85 yards per carry and scored a total of 15 touchdowns. He also contributed in the passing game with 145 receiving yards and one touchdown, underlining his versatility out of the backfield.
With his performances, the Austrian international established himself as one of the leading running backs in the European League of Football.

By extending Haslwanter’s contract, the Raiders Tirol retain an important part of their offensive core. In addition to his production on the field, he is also regarded as a key figure within the team structure.
