Raiders Tirol sign quarterback Steven Krajewski

The Raiders Tirol have signed quarterback Steven Krajewski for the upcoming EFA season, responding to the injury of Tyler Knoop. The American is expected to take over a leading role in the offense under Head Coach Shuan Fatah and Offensive Coordinator Max Kössler.

Krajewski brings experience from multiple NCAA Division I programs. Most recently, he played for Wagner College (FCS), after earlier stops with the Georgia State Panthers and the UConn Huskies.

College experience and production

During his college career, Krajewski gained valuable playing time across different programs. In the 2021 season with UConn, he appeared in nine games, throwing for 1,217 yards and seven touchdowns, while adding 173 rushing yards and three touchdowns on the ground.

In 2023 at Wagner College, he recorded 1,639 passing yards, 14 touchdowns, and seven interceptions, while also contributing as a runner with two rushing touchdowns. His profile combines mobility and the ability to extend plays.

New leader in Innsbruck

Krajewski is expected to provide stability at the quarterback position and lead the Raiders’ offense following Knoop’s absence.

Offensive Coordinator Max Kössler highlighted Krajewski’s football IQ, athleticism, and arm strength, describing him as a quarterback capable of making plays in multiple ways.

With the signing of Steven Krajewski, the Raiders Tirol add an experienced and versatile quarterback who is set to guide the offense in the upcoming EFA season.
