Ravens Stay Perfect: Munich Defeats Paris 45–22

The Munich Ravens remain the team to beat in the European Football Alliance. In front of their home crowd at the annual Homecoming Game in Sportpark Unterhaching, the league leaders earned a convincing 45–22 victory over the Paris Musketeers, remaining undefeated heading into next week’s blockbuster showdown with the Nordic Storm. Paris, meanwhile, missed a crucial opportunity to strengthen its playoff position and now faces a must win game against the Raiders Tirol.

Ravens pull away with relentless efficiency

The game started evenly, with both teams opening the scoring through field goals before the offenses began to find their rhythm. While Paris managed to stay within striking distance early, Munich gradually took control throughout the second quarter.

Quarterback Russell Tabor delivered another MVP caliber performance, completing 26 of his 30 pass attempts for 351 yards and five touchdowns while spreading the football across multiple targets. Wide receiver Louis Geyer led the way with five receptions for 102 yards and two touchdowns. Just seconds after Paris had cut the deficit with its first touchdown of the afternoon, the Ravens answered immediately, driving down the field in under a minute before Malik Stanley capped the possession with a touchdown to give Munich a 24–9 halftime lead. That sequence ultimately proved to be one of the defining moments of the game.

Paris fights back but Munich always has an answer

Despite trailing throughout the contest, the Paris Musketeers continued to battle. Quarterback Zach Edwards completed 18 of 26 passes for 214 yards and three touchdowns. Wide receiver Torin Justice once again emerged as Paris’ biggest offensive weapon, finishing with seven catches for 130 yards and two touchdowns, while tight end Liam Ward also found the end zone.

Every time Paris threatened to close the gap, however, Munich responded immediately. Philip Okonkwo extended the lead early in the third quarter before fullback Ron Tiavaasue scored his first touchdown as a Raven following a spectacular 51 yard run by Benedikt Pohler. Sixten Dragan eventually sealed the victory with Russell Tabor’s fifth touchdown pass of the afternoon.

Defense delivers timely big plays

Munich’s defense also turned in another impressive performance. The Ravens recorded four sacks against Zach Edwards while limiting Paris’ rushing attack for most of the afternoon.

Marcos Schlabitz led the defensive front with 1.5 sacks, while Sadik Busch added another sack of his own. Dominik Schmid finished with a team high nine tackles and once again anchored the Ravens defense. Etuale Lui’s blocked extra point just before halftime also proved significant, preventing Paris from carrying additional momentum into the locker room.

Race for the number one seed heads to Copenhagen

With their ninth victory in as many games, the Munich Ravens remain unbeaten atop the EFA standings. The final week of the regular season now features a highly anticipated showdown with the Nordic Storm. After defeating the Scandinavian powerhouse 37–34 in the first meeting, the Ravens only need a narrow loss to secure first place in the regular season standings.

For the Paris Musketeers, the situation has become considerably more difficult. The French side must defeat the Raiders Tirol in its regular season finale while also relying on results elsewhere to keep its BIG4 Playoff hopes alive.
