Storm extend contract with QB-Coach Henry Schlegel
Nordic Storm have extended the contract of Quarterback Coach Henry Schlegel. The 26-year-old German will continue to lead the quarterback room around star passer Jadrian Clark heading into the upcoming EFA season.
Experience across multiple levels
Schlegel gained early coaching experience in Germany with the Hildesheim Invaders, Niedersachsen Mustangs, and Berlin Eagles before taking a step to the United States in 2022. At Bethune-Cookman University (FCS), he worked as a graduate assistant, focusing on film breakdown and defensive scouting. After returning to Europe, he joined Berlin Thunder as Head of Scouting and Quality Control.
ELF experience as Offensive Coordinator
In 2023, Schlegel was promoted to Offensive Coordinator in Berlin, becoming the youngest OC in ELF history at the time. He contributed to the offensive structure and development of the unit before moving on to Nordic Storm. With Storm, he was part of a successful season that ended in a semifinal appearance.
Focus on EFA season
By extending Schlegel, Nordic Storm ensure continuity within the coaching staff and the quarterback development. Working under Head Coach John Shoop, he will once again be responsible for guiding Jadrian Clark and the passing game. Following last season’s semifinal run, Storm are aiming to reach the final and compete for the title in the inaugural EFA season.
